for every stinking acorn that falls into my yard! They come down each year at different rates. Some years light, some years heavy. This would be a heavy year. Of course it would be. My mom has them coming down, too. I lay in bed at night and hear them hit my car and hope it doesn't put pings in it, they are hitting that hard! I wonder if there is a correlation to how many fall to what kind of winter is in store for us. I know the squirrels are acting like idiots collecting and making nests before the cold weather arrives. I won't be able to do yard work this year due to my upcoming procedure. Hopefully, the guy that cuts my grass will help Dan keep ahead of it. You have to rake up those buggers, otherwise, little oak seedlings pop up. I fell in love with this neighborhood because of all of the trees, but this time of the year the blush is off the rose (or the acorn is off the tree).... :(
Prayers specially go out today for my brother and sister-in-law for continued strength, my mom, my son, and my sister's friend whose two dogs have been missing for nearly two weeks. I simply cannot imagine. Heartbreak times two!
Hoping today to be a LESS stressful day at work. I think they are trying to kill me before I got out on leave...
13 days to settlement, 66 days until the wedding.
